Though this unboxing is actually from 2016, and the '017 and I are now bosom buddies, nevertheless this memory remains sweet. I was in process of explaining this in an edit to the original post when domestic matters pulled me away. And then the 30 min. rule kicked in! My apologies to all you supportive folk who have congratulated me on this as though I had received it today!
In fact, the thrust of the post was to be how happy we all are to have taken the time to document such arrivals—no matter the level of sophistication contained within the box. And further, that we all enjoy each others' good fortunes so much that perhaps a week-long series of similar "trips down memory lane" be encouraged. But that pesky 30 min. rule!
So, with that clarified, I'll sign off by observing that it's an all-day rain here in eastern Iowa, and the orioles are coming through. Despite a winter's grime on the breakfast porch windows, and my phone nearly pixilating at max zoom, I though you'd enjoy this profusion of wonder. Have good days, all! FH
