Chuffed to bits
Glad to say I picked up my first Grand Seiko on Friday and couldn't be happier. I've been a long time admirer of the brand but never really bothered to pursue a purchase. Anyway a couple of weeks ago I'm doing the usual trawling the Internet looking at various watch sites and stores when this particular GS jumped out at me so next day I'm on the phone to the GS dealer who has it up for sale to gather a bit more info on the watch and it turns out the sbgx091 was actually a Japanese market boutique only piece but this one had been set aside for the opening of the London boutique that for some reason never did open and so this piece was sent to the AD I purchased it from ( luck me : ) ) I absolutely love the sporty/muscular look of the case the touch of red text and lume and the case/bracelet finishing as you all know is stunning. Anyway some pics

Excited

Great choice, very 'off the beaten path.' I like it, well done. Great photos too, the different finishes on the case are really quite striking. I love this case shape. I almost bought the mechanical version but it sat too high on the wrist for me. Needed ...
