Seiko

Seiko announced today a partnership with noted Japanese skateboard manufacturer EVISEN. Three watches that incorporate Japanese themes, loosely related to skateboarding. Not our mainstream sort of watches, but some details appeal to me, I must admit... DE...  

But at least I am sure they are having fun doing it. The sushi theme is a fun sacrilege

I would even claim Seiko copied some of my creations, as I have some Seiko Insta followers and some releases look familiar. I just think they have such a precious tradition and blood line that they are not treating well... just my 2cts. Some of my recent ...  

In "the olden days" of my youth, customers were just lower life forms who gave money so the artisans could sustain themselves. They certainly were not the source of creative ideas that would be adopted by any self-respecting company! Sigh. Cazalea

They remind me of what Swatch does with the system 51. Strangely - while I wouldn't get it, the second one is quite appealing. Cheers JML
