I would love to see something similar on the SLA 017 (MAS62 reissue), especially the comparison to the original. I do think not using an applied brand mark is a mistake.

I wish I knew so much about SEIKO divers! If we all study this perhaps we can catch up to Bill’s Seiko diver expertise. I’m going to go get my 6309. Thank you again, Cazalea

This is a great post. The only observation is that the original 6105 dial is stamped, the markers are raised by stamping the dial from the back. If applied then it could be a reproduction. Best. René ...

I picked this up from the original owner about 5 years ago. Jul ‘74, plain back, short sweep seconds hand. Watch is all original with NOS dial, type 2 crystal & sweep seconds hand, aftermarket hour & minute hands, looking for NOS, on a WJean waffl...  

. . . from the original owner, and with all the paperwork, too. I'll bet he was bemused that anyone would treasure it. I've several vintage Omegas from original owners, but with two exceptions can't say I've met any of them. Art
