Yes, the color of the new SPB is interesting. I'm warming up to mine. Was a bit dubious at first. But I've lived with the more vivacious SARB017 for a few years and this is a substantial change. I knew it would be, of course. Even welcomed it! I wanted an Alpinist that would be a quieter presence on the wrist—yet still be informal and sporty. I think that's what we got.
It's the perfect fit for my wrist. I think a different strap will make quite a bit of difference. All in due time! I'm hoping you are pleased with yours. Best regards! FH
