I agree with you. Today we can enjoy nice watches for a few dollars, given the advances in serial production and quality control.
It can also be applied to many vintage watches.
Even if some now and then we fall for a beautiful thousands dollars watch.
But it is so nice to have so many choices!

Absolutely! You can be a purist and not spend thousands on each watch
As long as you own a couple of them that you have carefully selected, and maintain them properly

And to be honest for me it’s not only about the ££ it’s also the fact that nowadays some of the big Swiss boys want you on your hands and knees 😅

It’s just on a personal note these past couple of years I find myself getting just as much enjoyment from a Seiko as I do Rolex/AP etc at a fraction of the cost.
For me it’s not a question of £$¥€. Only pleasure, love

Just traded my 3 seikos for a SLA033...I’ll let you know if it was worth it when it comes in...yours is a great piece!
