Hello Fernando! Congrats on this purchase. This is a most beautiful watch which doesn´t deserve in my opinion...
... the title of "poor man´s Hulk".
This title makes me remember when Tudor was called "the poor man´s Rolex" many years ago. Now you just have to view prices of vintage Tudor Subs and chronographs and the present offerings from Tudor and understand how wrong was that nickname too. (a nickname which I never liked by the way)
I feel this is a different watch to the Rolex in price, design and green color which has to be valued by itself and without comparisons.
An absolutely gorgeous timepiece and a great value for its price/quality. (Movement is a GS design with less decoration for example).
I own both the green Rolex and this watch too. The green color is different in both watches and beautiful in both: each has its own charm. I also like very much the feature of its lume on the bezel between 0 to 20 minutes.
I can say both are great watches and I really love the Seiko so much!
I wish you´ll keep loving and enjoying your new Green Seiko Diver so much!!

I too have the hulk from way back. I don't compare the two and each has it's place in the collection. I think we have both past the point where we look at watches as a status symbol but rather more for the pleasure and enjoyment that comes with it irrespe...

Seiko divers are indeed always wearing smaller than the specs would suggest! Enjoy wearing it, the current weather here is just right for it ;o)

You know, I had the same thoughts as you. But as everyone has said, it wears smaller and feels like any 40-41 diver IMO. cheers fernando
