Here is my last Astron Commemorative Issue
BEFORE the satellite GPS world edition, they were recognizing the original Astron quartz model.
When I put it on, I noticed the the time was wrong -- dead battery -- so off we went to the bench.
It's a very unusual case configuration - titanium and some special ceramic-like coating that shows absolutely no sign of wear. The shiny stuff you see is from Seiko silicone grease which I used to "glue" the gasket into place when reassembling the watch.
That's better.
