I had an 18kt gold Ulysse Nardin San Marco with blue enamel over guillochage, but the enamel was so dark you couldn't really see the guillochage, even though it's 'better' than Seiko's stamped work.

strap maker to put it on to accentuate the white hour markers and hands. She grudgingly agreed because she thought it would be too much !
