I initially ordered one...
...so I have to wait to see it in real life but some things that began to bother me:
1. The fact that the pinions for the seconds and the power reserve are not equidistant from the centre pinion,
2. The height of the hands off the dial due to having to clear the complications (lack of centre seconds hand makes this worse I think)
3) The lion caseback emblem
4) Price seems quite high for the spec (also compared to other GS, 44 cased Hi-Beat for example)
The new Spring Drive manual winds look far nicer IMO and are (possibly) cheaper too?
Given the above its likely I will pass.

Does it have a GS lion printing in the exhibition caseback?
That's a no-no for me. Otherwise, it looks super! Mt. Iwate dials are fantastic.
Personally, I do not like the PR indicator and the marker..
which looks like a scratch on the blue dial.

If its not too big for you, I'd say go for it. Should be a very solid daily watch.

The blue textured dial is very beautiful...but
As you say, The bottom part is too empty, and the PR indicator ruined the otherwise clean dial. Not the best effort from Seiko I think.

You are correct...but its only by a few hundred dollars and if the justification for the (relatively) high price is the fact it's limited, the Anniversary Spring Drive is 700 v 1500 for the manual. In any case, you seem sold, so I hope you get it and enjo...
