SEIKO has 150 years of uninterupted heritage, matched only by the ones of Rolex, Omega and Patek.
RM would not have had a chance too ....and he was from of all places...SEIKO.
I had not been back to Japan since the 90s, and after 2009, I went back again...and will go again...
The Japanese are wonderful when it comes to original thought and reassembly of design.
AND...if you follow Namiki and Dunhill, you get the picture.
Of course, all countries and companies have their downs...but this watch...it is special.
The "lens" design is original in detail. At first glance, it is normal but of HIGH, VERY HIGH quality...I am meaning Rolex level.
On a closer look, it becomes a raw Leica Summicron lens, not yet totally refined...but close.
It is the first time you will use a lens cloth and cleaner to wipe it!
