Sharing something interesting I noticed on my GS sbgw231 second hand. The Zaratsu mirror polish is amazing yet it also helps reveal the completely unfinished underside of the second hand. Given the price point, it’s understandable. ...  

I owned the SBGW231 for 4 months last year and never saw the watch in such detail.

From my understanding, observation and inquires almost no one finishes the underside of the hands. Lange, Patek, Vacheron.. they all don’t. The only manufacture that does it is Moritz Grossman and 2-3 indies.

At that point price, everything should be well polish. Else for Swiss brands they should not claim/market themselves to be Haute Holorogy... cause in terms of movement and innovation, the Chinese and others are not far behind.
