Many thanks, Thomas.
Especially welcome from a "countryman!" (My grandfather came over from the region south of Brandbu, along with another brother and sister, ~1907. The 1900 census for the kommune lists them all. My last name should therefore most likely be Helgedahl (?) after the Helgedalssaggen by which they lived and worked, floating timber downstream on the river for milling.) But I was reared in my Sicilian family on the east coast (my Norwegian ancestors settled in Washington and Oregon)! Ah… America. A land of immigrants!
Many thanks, Thomas.
