Looks like a perfect beater (not meant in a disrespectful fashion) and I really like the leather strap you matched it with. Now the picture with the tiny raindrops on it is truly great!

They are massive and not too frilly or divided. You might call me picky ... Minute hand outlined in yellow; NO Hour hand too big an arrow; NO Second hand very nice but dot on back end Pretty much the same as the previous, so NO Hour short thick and gracef...  

Here is my pair of Seikos: The Sumo and the MM 300m. Great watches, each one with its particular charm: Cheers, Nilo ...  

Btw. - a newbie question. What was the reason behind the crown positioning at 4? Design, or some practical consideration?

The crown at 4 makes it more comfortable on my wrist. Cheers, Nilo
