This Seiko SBDC053 (yes, Seiko should really find a nickname for each of their watches instead of these “impossible to remember” references LOL 😁) is definitely a great value for money (like the majority of all Seiko if we’re impartial).
I particularly liked how you have described it as we can really feel your love for this timepiece (which is the main thing for us collectors in my opinion).
Your analogy “In a solution both partners have a wonderful romance but the lady wins all the arguments...” was particularly well thought out too 😉

You covered it much more detail than I would. I would add though it is for me quite a heavy watch. Yes I know it's my first proper diver so probably still getting used to it's heft. And as you say accuracy was pretty good too Cheers JML
