I like the larger dial (compared to the Eichi 1) and the line indices (compared to the Arablic numerals of the predecessor). The power reserve indicator positioned at the back certainly makes the dial neater....

But I like the subtlety it offers....

It looks nice in general. Great classic dress watch. But the dial seems a little bit to pale for me. I prefer some guilloche pattern on it.

But the beauty lies in the movement and its finishing

They make the Eichi II what it is. Photos from my visit to the factory last year. Mike Painting the dial markers - not a great shot but you don't interrupt a guy doing this! Assembly in progress cleaning the movement ...  

I have not visited the manufactury myself. Bet it would be very interesting....
