... SEIKO doesn't do "finishing". Remember that GS is aimed to be "the most PRACTICAL watch" and finishing is not included in "PRACTICAL".... same reason for why most are automatic, not hand wind.... While I understand it and the value is still very high for the price, it's a bit of pity.....

I agree that the case, hands, dial and hour markers of Seiko are superb. They are distinctively better than a lot of Swiss and German brands. But for movement finishing, I still prefer that of Swiss and German. Regards Ling

.. attention to details.... Their case is VERY specially made. I don't think there are more than a few brands in Swiss or Germany who makes the case with such time and effort and patience.... Surely inside is well designed and it can be adjusted up to sup...

To be honest, I am pretty sure that I WILL get a Grand Seiko someday. Just waiting for the irresistible one to come.
