Seiko

The dial is indeed the highlight of the watch

"My watch" came from Singapore where it had been stored in humid conditions, resulting in the dial discoloration and deterioration of the box's vinyl material. I knew this before I bought it and so made a deal that it be fixed BEFORE I closed the deal with the seller. In the end of course I paid for that service (about $1000 including the new dial and complete service and polish).

I have never heard a GS service horror story. I've heard plenty on other brands, but never on GS. But in any case it's now your watch and up to you how to resolve it.

 Cheers, Cazalea
