The dimensions seem somewhat daunting
At 51mm x 14mm but then it's titanium and relatively light. As for moving the functions, Seiko are nothing if not dedicated when it comes to their premium lines 
The layout seems a 180 degree rotation of the later Space Walk Spring Drive (with buttons and the crown being in the same place), so maybe they managed to recycle some of it for further models.

But you can tell by looking at the dial that they rotated some of the functions in the movement, so it isn't just a cosmetic shift. Mike

It is indeed
The whole watch rotates on the lower end of the case, meaning you wear it turned the way it is in the picture normally and 180 degrees rotated when using the chrono. Technically the function you are using gains prominence that way. Curious myself how well...
Yes it could be nice to try one in Europe... or at least here in Switzerland but I think it will be hard :-(

I did a post on the Seiko boutique recently. If you like unconventional the Landmaster certainly qualifies - large but somehow curiously appealing. And great for climbing Mount Everest

At least if you can amortise the movement and / or case, otherwise such a LE may well go beyond a reasonable price...
