It’s a nice summer watch and as the NATO matched the socks, it was a done deal for the day 😁 Not that there will be any trips to CERN or other strong magnets around but the old school approach to shielding the mechanism from magnetism is a charming (if so...  

And am still a fan of the old double logo 👍🏻

Is this a 40mm?

There have been a handful with slight color variations on the GS logo, red (here) and charcoal for instance. It is 40mm IIRC but the soft inner liner makes it relatively chunky and the NATO raises it a tad more above the wrist 🤷🏻‍♂️😊

But it’s not amongst the most common models, even if not limited 👍🏻

I have this earlier version (how many can one have?) Writing in Bluish purple Hidden dial patterns of lion and GS ...  

And much rarer still 😁 I knew it was you 😉👍🏻

Dense metal inner cover surrounding the movement, keeping those magnetic fields at bay! but only half the protection of KM’s newer watch ...  

The quartz are at 40000, the automatics at 80000 🤷🏻‍♂️😊
