I saw a write up on a blog (can't recall which one) that the 253 is the best time only steel watch available today. While there may be other views, I personally am very inclined to agree.
Although I must be one of the rare few that doesn't understand what's the fuss about this watch ( and yes, I have "owned" it for a short while ) other than it's a re-issue of the classic first GS. Anyway, enjoy and wear it in good health.
One of those things you have to strap on and see in outdoor light to fully appreciate. I think it's probably because there is now less text on the dial, coupled with the amazing finishing of GS and the size to thickness ratio that's close to perfect.
So sorry for the late post. I'm a big fan in this and I am happy to see many posts admiring this reissue model of Grand Seiko. This will be my first Grand Seiko! Please wear the watch in good health!
