I keep thinking about buying a GS. I'm leaning toward the current manual with no date on a bracelet. Best, Martin

That moon phase Credor is something else, wow! Also, am curious with regards to the the Grand Seiko, did you think of adding the 44GS to your collection?

Although technically not a GS, this is one of the very first commercially-sold Seiko Spring Drives. I think 500 were made in the late Nineties. It was about 35mm, thin, with a crummy bracelet. But still a milestone. at the time I didn't appreciate it - an...

It was just awfully big and clunky and gaudy - too much so, for my taste, anyway. I enjoyed it in concept, but not on my wrist. Here it is next to my 45mm Stowa. Inside a 20mm tall case, it's a normal spring drive movement On the wrist it is a brick, alth...

It's more balanced on the dial---the other dial is rather crowded! Just my two bits! best henry
