I always wondered why their chiming watches utilized Spring Drive movements, instead of mechanical movements from Grand Seiko. It never occurred the reason was as simple - and compelling - as the inherently quieter background.

Thanks for the kind words. I have to say that he is not actually winding the mainspring, but is aligning it and adjusting the final position and curve. This is a great achievement in itself. Keep reading! Cazalea
