TAG Heuer

A real loss

But I'm absolutely shocked that the site will be deleted. Who does that benefit? The reference value and depth of information on older models has enduring value to the collector community. None of the extant history is going to change, and the need to keep it accessible is self-evident to anyone who has tried to research the TAG era. Plenty of vintage Heuer fan sites and histories are available, but Calibre11 was the only site with encyclopedic archives of TAG Heuer models and timelines.

I beg David Chalmers to reconsider deleting the site. Remove the social media, sure, but not the site. This was as important to the TAG community as the Hour Lounge was to the Vacheron crowd. Could Watchprosite.com subsume and archive Calibre11 in the TAG Heuer section the way much of the Hour Lounge content has been transferred here? Can we work out an agreement to host the old Cal11 articles as posts on this page?

Best,
Tim
