I think it's lame when manufacturers write One of XXX instead of using an actual number. It saves them money for manufacturing costs but it makes tracking a watch much harder and it feels less limited IMO.
The movement is mostly stacked together and not screwed. The other reason is the boxshaped glass. The watch is very modern with its 8oh power reserve and a miniscule, little balance.
But with good examples of the original 2447 still available for not much more than a reissue, it seems an easy choice to go with the original version. Plus you get a Valjoux 72 movement, the same movement that’s in the Newman Daytona, which makes it a rel...
Former variations were issued at 1.000 pieces. That aside, the red touches of the movement are cool, however the orange accents on the dial are too subdude, too tame. Overall a very attractive watch.
