because not only did they lose Neymar but any player that they target to buy (Dybala or Mbappe or Dembele or Coutinho) will cost much more than they are worth because the selling club knows that Barca has a 220+ million war chest.
Yes not great overall for the competitive landscape of the sport. I agree with Wenger that it is a bad thing when a country (Qatar) owns a football club.
Well anyway it is a good world football story for the season and add a lot of spice to how the affected teams will be judged. If PSG do not at least reach the Champions League final and win all their domestic trophies, will it be a failure? If Barca do not win La Liga or the Champions League, will the great historic chapter over the past 10 years be finally closed? Honestly I think Real Madrid is the strongest.

The numbers are ridiculous. 222 M transfer + 150 M salary over 5 years + cca. 65 M to father as agent's fee + cca. 160 M taxes for PSG. Total, around 600 MILLION EURO for a football player. Insane doesn't even describe this.
