TimeOut

Daughters

Anthony and Nad,

Oh how we loved having three little girls --- there was never a dull moment.  Each of them had their own bedroom and was securely tucked away in their own bed every night.  Often my husband and I sat in the hall; we sang the girls to sleep while he played guitar.  For some odd reason every single morning we awoke with the three girls laying any which way they could in bed with momma and papa. Sometimes, we’d awake to privacy with the girls all huddled together in one of their beds. This went on till their early teens.  Then one day my oldest daughter had a baby, guess where we’d find them in the morning….right…in our bed as usual.  Old habits are hard to break but Ahh…finally a baby boy, we welcomed him in our bed.  Not long after, she got married and it doesn’t take a space scientist to figure out where they lived.  OK!!!   This is where we finally drew the line…NO HUSBANDS IN OUR BED!!!!!

Those were some of the sweetest memories I have,

Helen
