This car has been standing, seemingly abandoned, gathering cobwebs on a street corner in a far flung Southern land. What is it? Is it an Alfa Romeo? Is it a Fiat? Is it an Iso Grifo? What do you think? Cheers, pplater....

In watch speak, it is a frankenstein car made up of various bits.The back does look like a fiat and the side profile looks like an Alfa. Or at best AHCI LOL.

I think it may be a Griffin. If I recall they were, sort of, similar to TVRs, glass fibre bodies and powerful (V8, Rover based?) engines. Antony

What was I thinking? It's a Gilbern..I think the model was called the Invader.

I thought it was a Fiat or Lancia until I saw the badge on the grille. Company went out of business in 1973

Back home we are always joking about cars up on blocks in people's front yards. Maybe it's a Southern thing. I've never seen this car brand before. Curious. Cheers, Daos
