Every year Hermosa Beach has its Memorial Day Fiesta.... the streets close down, 5 stages for bands, beer gardens, 125,000 people show up to party.
This weekend it's a bit wilder....
Seeing a lot of old people.....where are the beach bunnies???
The weekend temperatures only hit about 70 at the beach ......but c'mon people.....beach bunnies can handle 70 degrees can't they???
Hardly a bunny in sight....
After all the crowds, and disappointment, went for a quiet beer with about 100 other people...

Yours truly ventured further south on Memorial Monday to Sunset Beach . . .
. . . where one of the best sessions of bank-the-eight ever went down. I made multiple two, three, and four rail bank 'n kick shots. And Steve made a five-rail bank plus a long wide-separation combination shot. Good times!
