Sorry for the late reply... I just saw this. I think apart from the regular shops in the malls, the vintage options aren't plentiful in KL except for maybe the flea marts in the weekend at Amcorp Mall and also some shops in Berjaya Times Square (caveat emptor).
Anyway, there are some good options for Hokkien Mee (late at night) either in Jalan Alor or in the vicinity or Petaling Street. There are some in Petaling Jaya but may be a bit out of your way,
