I passed
I could have had one but decided not to. I'm weaning myself off the internet and email (I spend my entire working day working on the internet) and trying to get back to actually doing things, making things...trying to stop being a passive consumer of what are often 2nd-rate ideas and time wasting nonsense.
Slightly OT... I actually don't understand all the "the PC is dead - long live the tablet" rhetoric. Tablets are fine for some things, but my work PC is currently running two client applications that are doing realtime database access across a VPN (and these will never be rewritten for a tablet OS given how complex they are and how expensive it would be), and I'm working on the spreadsheet from hell. A tablet that can do all that would need the screen, keyboard and processing power of a PC... The kids are using Sketchup to design fantasy houses - even if Sketchup were ported to Android, a large screen and serious processing power and memory make a huge difference.

For you want an inexpensive tablet to play games, browse the 'net, and toss around, it's a steal at $99 and $150. With all those developers trying to install Android it'll make the HP even better. I had the opportunity to get one when the sale was announc...
