how long does it take for a full charge? and how many miles can you drive on a full charge? and what's the max speed? cheers, anthony

Currently about 50-55 mph and a range of about 45-50 miles range. Uses a standard wall socket so you can plug at the office or anywhere. The speed and range will obviously be going up over the next 3-6 months and when the bike comes on the market late sum... 

In china there are a LOT of electric bicycle, not motorcycle (u can pedal it if the battery runs out). Price around US$500. Max speed 30-40 km/hour. But the battery technology is not good. cen@jkt

It is hard to compare cc and kilowatts but a 250cc-400cc motorcycle would be a much closer comparisn than a moped or a small scooter which is not in the same vehicle class. Bill

And may I know the cost? do you need a driving licence to operate it? Does it need a licence plate also? The moped/electric bicycle that I'm talking about required no licence at all. cen@jkt

The first bikes will be priced around USD $ 11,000. This is focused at the urban/city commuter and wished to have a greener mode of transportation. What you have to consider in the price is that you are prepaying 3 years worth of fuel so I think that you ...
