Lahaina Amateur Update…
Most people are aware of the devastating fires of August 2023 that basically wiped out the Historic Town of Lahaina, Maui.
Most streets are open now with very little construction going on in the downtown business section as there are so many conflicting parties involved in the rebuild.
It’s very strange to drive down the main streets because it’s virtually barren with no landmarks to guide you. Front street will probably not have businesses on the water side so it will look entirely different in a few years.
There are a lot of houses in various stages of construction farther west towards Ka’anapali.
