Cool you are THE go to guy for photography! Blackrapid is a great quality option. One thing I didn't like was the attachment via screw on swivel mount but a bit of loctite would solve it. I thought about doing something similar with a Really Right Stuff B2-FABN quick release. Happy shooting and let me know how well it works!

I just got a new strap for the 7D as I am literally attached to the camera at all events...I have sorrta become the defacto photographer at kids/school events... I picked up the Blackrapid RS7 after seeing some pro guys use it...haven't had a chance to us...
