Thanks DRMW for the review of the LMT DMR stock. Looks well made and interesting to see how this compares to the Magpul PRS. I like the fact that the LMT utlizes a carbine buffer so IMO it's more flexible to switch between a carbine/SBR configuration and ... 

I prefer my M1A over the AR10/LR308's. The cool thing about the LR308 platform is that it is just like the AR15's,lots of aftermarket parts and modularity. -MW ...  

Love the M1A but you make a good point about modularity with the AR platform. BTW, have you seen the new version of the LMT Sopmod stock? I have the original and it's great but I heard that there are small updates to it. And then there's the B5 version th...

B5 Systems is a good value. I believe that when they first appeared on the market, they released the SOPMOD stocks which were rejected by the U.S. Army (even though they were the ones who provided the specs) and they had some fitment issues. B5 currently ... 

I recently handled one of the Magpul PRS stocks. I liked the ergonomics but it was heavier than expected. My LMT 308 MWSE is already a stout fella. I like that; LMT's build quality is exceptional in my opinion. Are the big advantages of this new stock ove... 

Appreciate you looking Mikey! As you noticed, the Magpul PRS is a great stock but on the heavy side, the DMR is much much lighter. Since you have a LMT 308 MWS, the DMR stock drops in (they sell a full kit or just the stock...in your case get just the 308... 

I applaud your extensive knowledge on firearms and the AR platforms. Much to learn for someone like me! I am not sure I really need a precision stock on my LMT. I do like the SOPMOD it came with. But I would still like to see one of these DMRs up close. T... 

Agree, the LMT SOPMOD stock is great! My knowledge is not that extensive, I'm just really into it as you are and always looking to improving. Enjoy your MWSE! -MW
