TimeOut

re: travelling to HK

Hello DMS,

Welcome to the TimeOut forum of PPro!  I was just in Hong Kong back in November, it's a cool place to visit.  You will want to walk along Nathan Road, stating north of Salisbury Road.  For reference to a landmark, on a map it's the street adjacent to the Pennisula hotel.

As you head up north onNathan Road, you'll see all kinds of jewelry stores, gold, precious stones, and of course watches. Some are huge AD's and others will be little shops that sell used and vintage pieces.  Some are at street level and some are inside the buildings so you'll have to keep an eye out for the vintage places.

Another area that I spotted was near the Sogo department store, they had some around there in Causaway Bay.  I really didn't see any watch strap places.

Our moderator Alec aka 'Jester' is in HK, best to PM him and see if he has specific suggestions.  He's a cool dude and as you have probably seen on the forum that he's very knowledgeable in horology.

Have fun in HK and let us know how it goes!
