Summer 2015: Cavazzo.
We have a ritual when we spend our summer holidays in Italy: We have a nice lunch in family in one of the best restaurants around, in Cavazzo.
Before the lunch, a small walk is mandatory, and this year, we discovered the Cavazzo Lake:
After, time to go to the restaurant, held by my fathers in law's friends:
A view on the village:
And the two donkeys:
Which are pretty friendly, I must say.
When you come from the heat of Trieste, this place is a small halt of freshness.
Take the road for Villach, Austria ( a good highway ) and drive some 100 kilometers. The exit is Cavazzo.
Have a refreshing bath in the lake, then a nice lunch, and you will have a superb day.
