There were a few other usability flaws, such as the red alloy release pull that required so much effort it broke one's nails or pained one's fingertip, and the sharp-edged, screw-down cap/crown. Or the tiny, illegible print on the flask identifier on the bottom, or the instruction label on the side.

I am disappointed the Macalan folks did not offer you an additional liquid peace offering as a sign of good will.
This was a pricey product and since it appears the quality was below par I would have assumed they would handle it better. Pretty poor PR from Macallan and Urwerk in my humble opinion. HAGWE
