In the course of May I shall be traveling to San Antonio for work. Still not quite sure how much time I\'ll have for extra curricular activities but in case there will be the odd hour, I was wondering if there were members here with tips about what to do ...  

Good barbecue, craft beer, the Texas Hill Country, among others, without forgetting the San Antonio Spurs! It´s playoff time, so you might be able to catch a game while visiting. I have heard great things about the Emma Hotel, their bar, and the surroundi... 

Not sure I will be able to fit in a game but food - definitely on the menu (pun intended)

Which has NO mob and don't ever say that word in New Jersey. San Antonio, on the other hand, has its own kind of mob. Different than New Jersey, which doesn't have a mob.

As much as I would love that, let me check the schedule first, so I don't overpromise anything. I may only get one free hour or so, in which case your 6 hours drive is hefty. Will check it out on Monday
