I never got into carpets or understood what they were until a fellow Purist on the Piaget tour GTG graciously spent the time and effort to explain to me the intricacies of fine carpets. Hope he's reading and will post pics of his favorite pieces!=)
On the Kuwait/Abu Dhabi/Dubai trip with SalmanQ8 we saw some the tools they used for handmade carpets, dyes, and history. Very fascinating stuff!
I'll try to post pics of some of the pieces we saw during the trip.
