Are the cream dial models all gone?
I believe that the cream dial with black hands is a special edition limited to 99 pieces - the white dial with blue hands is a regular model. I really prefer the cream dial/black hands but fear it is unavailable - it's also a little outside of my comfort zone, price wise. :-(
Yes, it has a great texture. And is said to get darker with age.
The transformation will be enjoyable to witness.

Why we don't see such a crown selector employed more.
It could possibly be done. The stem outside the case is the easy part...
Add a twisting ring to select chrono or watch setting. But inside... here is where the UN Madness is needed!

Time, Date, Wind – functions for a fixed crown.
On W, the crown will only wind the mainspring. On D, the crown adjusts the date, and on T, the crown operates just the hands to set the time. Unlike regular watches, the crown doesn’t pull out/push in, to activate the time, date, or winding.

Each push of that button shifts the selector to the next letter or function.
P J S has you covered. The button sits inside the turning wheel.
So nothing pulls out... each push of the button at 3:00 moves the selector to the next position. After making any adjustments by rotating the outer wheel, you return it to W and wear the watch. Once on, the buttons on the left side will change the hour ha...

UN getting a lot of love here recently. I just learnt above that it is a fixed crown, and I am guessing the pusher in the crown selects what it is winding? Not something you see everyday!

That crown complication was first done on the Stranger. The origin of the complication, as told to me, started with Rolf's wife complaining about having to pull the crown to set the time and how it affected her nails.
Don't know if it is true but it is a handy complication. Do really like the watch. Too many funny stories associated with the goofy yellow that I can't possibly separate myself from it or show it any competition.
Finally, the GMT Big Date reached the Marine series ...

I must admit, the complications on this watch are quite enjoyable to use.

The cream dial I chose is a UN Boutique model only, in a limited run of 99 pieces. The boutique I worked with is awesome, if you are in the US and need a location. Keep us posted!

... the print on the dial appears to be in blue rather than black. I think I prefer the black, since it offers a sharper contrast. Marcus

Yes, the cream and black is limited to 99 pieces.
