Personally, I think the titanium diver is a bit more gaudy, with all the colours, and I am still not sure if I like the surfboard-style hands on power reserve and small second. They are definitely more sportive that way, but I always liked the fine and classic style of the "old" hands.
One thing that I clearly like more on the older design is the crown. The new crown is looking better, no doubt, but offers far less grip when winding and setting the watch. Additionally, it protrudes more from the case. On large-diameter watches, this means that it will come into closer contact with the skin on the hand's back. Since the Titanium Diver is larger than the standard Maxi Diver (45mm diameter vs. 42.7mm), this might be an issue that should be checked personally, with the actual watch.
