...there were 100 Trilogy sets made in PT, and 100 in YG and possibly 100 in RG. Have a look at the case back in my photos posted above. I am not certain why you thought each precious metal was for 99 sets. Also individual watches were manufactured in the various precious metals and they were not part of the Trilogy LE sets.
I agree with the statement above that the Trilogy was the Late Rolf Snyder's and Dr. Oechlin's pinnacle contribution to horology, but I would also have to add the Freak, the Perpetual Calendar, and the Sonata to this list of exceptionally innovative timepieces.
