Hello All, I am about to purchase a new Maxi Marine Diver. With the release of the new steel diver with the black bezel, I can not resist. I am debating between the rubber strap with ceramic elements or titanium. Any opinions? My AD told me to go with the... 

It will all depend if you prefer the darker loo of the ceramic or the lighter loo of the titanium. As for the harder case, theorically and practically ye,s the ceramic is harder, but if it falls or if ti receives a big shock, the case must have some sever... 

For me, personally, ceramic elements on a tool watch, or sports watch that is subjected to increased stress, is a no-go. Like sapphire crystal, ceramics is very hard, but also more brittle and will have a much higher probability to break when receiving a ... 

but I can tell you that the titanium elements on the band scratch very very easily. It does not bother me much since they then fade rapidly again but just so you know! Best Andreas

Go for ceramic, titanium will scratch easily. finally it will depend on aesthetics so please try on both if possible...
