Have seen and tried on the new one. Prefer the new Chronometer as I like the elongated romans. The feel and proportions of the case are great. Also knowing that it is the height of UN technology is special
with the silicium parts and the diamonsil escape wheel. Wish the back was open.

Gives it a very remarkable look that does a good job of recalling a marine chronometer. I also love the Le Locle on the dial. I hope it meets your expectations in person. Interested to get your feedback at that point. Cheers, Brandon

I like this watch and the date, which usually I can live without, is very discrete.
In fact it could almost be part of the sub seconds dial and will look that way on the 30th of each month (except Feb of course). Regards Kev.

is it me or is the 12o'clock so badly truncated so it says VII. I realise V and VII are also truncated but they are still reading correctly to my mind?

Shows how well the 150th Marine Chronometer from 1996 followed the style of the original Ships Chronometers. Yes as you say I believe the platinum 150th Marine Chronometer 269-20 was only produced in a run of 3 pieces. I will do a full review shortly once...

You're considerate. It is a terrific watch that is history and innovation all wrapped in one. I remember the old marine Chronometer and would like to find one and match it against this one. The mechanics of this one, the enamel dial, the size and fit
all very appealing. Yes it is worth adding to any collection as I will.
