... it would still be a Matthäus Hahn. Pierre Gygax suggested to Ludwig Oechslin changes to the Dual Direct escapement, but it was Mr. Oechslin who developed the Dual Ulysse escapement from this idea. Ludwig Oechslin is the official inventor of the escapement:
