My experience
I believe UN’s official position is that variations of 6 – 12 sec/day are normal. However, my Sonata Silicium is not COSC certified. It ran a very consistent +3/sec per day when I first received it. I sent it to the US service center and they calibrated it to near perfect. The watch has lost 19 seconds in the past 60 days. Performance is better than any of the COSC certified watches I have owned. If you travel quite a bit, as I do, then there is nothing better than the Sonata Silicium. I could not be happier with mine.
