respo, i have an amendum in my manual which says
NEVER set the time until you have wound the watch!!
you can set in any direction, but it MUST be running first. apart from that you can do what you like with it, apart from get it wet, bang in on anything hard, lose it, have it stolen etc etc

This is it - the "original" Freak! I agree with your choice of the metal colour, since for me, the white gold Freak looks a bit more like "everyday" than the massive pink gold case of the other variant. I wish you a lot of fun with it! Regards, Marcus
