... when specific demands arise.
I look at the cal. 118, and see a movement with integrated power reserve, small seconds and conventional (small) date display, also integrated. I look at the lineup of UN watches and see a ton of timepieces with small seconds and a big date, but without power reserve display. The cal. 160 is a movement with integrated small second and big date.
I would really be astonished if UN threw the cal. 160 into a bin, not after such a development effort. That would be contrary to all UN decisions and principles. The cal. 160 works flawlessly, and is a beautiful movement.
At some time, UN has to replace the 2892 as a base of its dual time indication with an inhouse movement, then we will see if it will be based on the cal. 118 or the cal. 160 (or the cal. 310, as is the Stranger, altough I doubt UN will add a third pusher to a sportive and everyday timepiece).
