I still wonder about manufacturing details. For me, it is nothing more than a coating. But not as hard as DLC at all, so that is where my question about reliability originates from.

I dislike both. Whilst these are "creative" I wish they would focus more on pieces similar to those that emerged under Rolf and Ludwig. Dave

Yes, the new Tourbillon in house is great as well as the concept of the musical box on the
Wrist. But true UN fans are always waiting for the magic, the exceptional creativity of the brand. They put the bar very high, and we are always expecting higher, from them. Which is the tue challenge of Ulysse Nardin. Best, Mitch. Nicolas
Absolutely agree. I do think that the anchor escapement is a version
of that magic. It is revolutionary as it minimizes the effects of friction on the pallet fork. Not sure who's creativity this represents from the company but it has been multi years in development. Anxiously awaiting the next innovation from them. Mtich
